Your bedroom may not be one of your home’s public spaces, but that certainly doesn’t mean it’s not an appropriate place to hang beautiful works of art. In fact, the right art helps transform your bedroom into the sanctuary it ought to be.
Pictured above are three of my fine art photography pieces hanging in a bedroom. They create a peaceful ambiance, resonating a certain tranquil, mystical feeling. I don’t know about you, but it’s just the sort of imagery I like to bask in before bedtime.
I particularly love the blue that’s featured in these pictures for a bedroom environment. It’s natural and soothing, while at the same time vibrant enough to add the pops of color this room needs to bring it to life.
On the left, you’re seeing my photograph entitled Blue Ball, which is part of my Smoke and Mirrors collection; it won the Best in Photography award at the 2015 Cocoa Beach Art Festival. On the right is Blue Ginger from my Living Color: Botanicals and Shells series. The larger piece in the center is one of my Living Kaleidoscopes created from the other two pieces.
